Congratulations to Damo Holoubek, the winner of the third annual John Whitehouse medal. It was close until the end, with six players with a chance to win the award on the final day.
Commiserations to club stalwart Rob Alberton who scored the same number of points as Damo – 17 – but was ineligible due to picking up five yellows over the season. It’s a bit harsh, as each season his opponents keep getting younger, and he just keeps on hacking them.
